I had a different experience. I went thru the steps and when I got to the fingerprint part of the process, I was unable to access it. So I instead just went to settings ===> reset and did a factory reset and it successfully worked and the frp was removed.

Actually I was mistaken. It did not remove the frp. However I am unable to access the fingerprint settings and set a pin code. Is there any alternative way?
