I’m stuck at the very start of the instructions, and would be grateful for some help! I’m at the “QR Code” part of the instructions.
(In order to find the QR code icon,I had to tap Settings for my own network.)
So I’m on the QR Code page, which tells me to scan the code with another device. The instructions say:
>> Image ==>> 3 Lines ==>> Long tap on Gallery Go.
There’s no verb in the instructions until “Tap on,” so I don’t understand “Image,” or “3 Lines.” What are those telling me to do?
I’ve tried everything I can think of; I apparently need to get to get to the Gallery, but I can’t figure out a way to do it. I’ve taken a lotta screenshots, but the phone’s not offering me the option of going to the Gallery. If I’m understanding the instructions (I may not be; they’re written with an awful lot of economy, meaning it’s up to us to try to translate and decipher them 😞), you need me to get access to Chrome via the search function.
I’d be really grateful if you’d suggest another way to get to the Search function, as the QR code doesn’t seem to be the way to do it for me.
(I ought this phone for my dad who has dementia and doesn’t remember what password (or perhaps what email address!) he used in the phone, and has been struggling with this thing for two months now! I feel as if I’m really close to solving this problem, but unfortunately, not *quite* close enough yet. ☺️) Thanks so much for these instructions, but more importantly, thanks for helping me to pull up a Search box!
I’ll try not to tear my hair out before someone responds.
